ఒక చిన్న ఇంటర్వ్యూ

సుధ — నమస్కారం. కూర్చోండి. మీ గురించి కొంచెం చెప్పండి.
Hello. Please sit down. Tell me a little about yourself.
అనిల్ — నమస్కారం. నా పేరు అనిల్. మా ఊరు విజయవాడ. ఇప్పుడు నేను హైదరాబాదులో ఉంటున్నాను.
Hello. My name is Anil. My town is Vijayawada. I live in Hyderabad now.
సుధ — మీ పనిలో ఎంత అనుభవం ఉంది?
How much experience do you have in your work?
అనిల్ — ఐదు సంవత్సరాల అనుభవం ఉంది. మొదట బడిలో పాఠాలు చెప్పాను, తరువాత ఒక కార్యాలయంలో చేరాను.
I have five years of experience. First I taught at a school, then I joined an office.
సుధ — తెలుగు ఎలా నేర్చుకున్నారు?
How did you learn Telugu?
అనిల్ — రోజూ కొంచెం చదువుతూ, విన్నది మళ్ళీ చెబుతూ నేర్చుకున్నాను. తప్పులు వచ్చినా ఆగలేదు.
By reading a little every day and saying back what I heard. Even when mistakes came I did not stop.
సుధ — బాగుంది. మీ అభిప్రాయం ప్రకారం మంచి ఉపాధ్యాయుడు ఎలా ఉండాలి?
Good. In your opinion, what should a good teacher be like?
అనిల్ — ఓర్పు ఉండాలి. ప్రయత్నం చేస్తే ఫలితం ఉంటుంది అని నేను నమ్ముతాను.
He must have patience. I believe that if you make the effort, the result comes.

వివరణ · Explanation

ఐదు నిమిషాల పరిచయం ఆరు భాగాలు — పేరు, ఊరు · రోజువారీ పని · కుటుంబం · గతం, ముందు ప్రణాళిక · ఒక చిన్న కథ · ఒక అభిప్రాయం.

A five-minute పరిచయం is not one long speech, it is six short ones laid end to end, and you have a whole level behind each: your name and town from level 1, your day's routine from level 2, your family and the things around you with their case endings from level 3, what you did and what you will do from level 4, one small story told with -ి and -తూ from level 5, and one opinion with a సామెత from level 6. Say each part in three or four sentences and the five minutes fill themselves. Nothing new is being asked of you here — only that all of it come out at once.

ఇంటర్వ్యూ ప్రశ్నలకు ఒక్క మాటతో కాక పూర్తి వాక్యాలతో జవాబు చెప్పండి. 'మీ గురించి చెప్పండి' · 'ఎంత అనుభవం ఉంది?' · 'ఎలా నేర్చుకున్నారు?' · 'మీ అభిప్రాయం ఏమిటి?'

An interview answer that is one word long stops the conversation dead. Stretch it with the non-finite forms you already own: చదువుతూ నేర్చుకున్నాను (learning while reading), బడిలో చేరి పాఠాలు చెప్పాను (I joined the school and taught), సమయం ఉంటే ఇంకా చదువుతాను (if there is time I will read more), తప్పులు వచ్చినా ఆగలేదు (even when mistakes came I did not stop). Note the shape of the experience question and its answer — ఎంత అనుభవం ఉంది? takes నాకు, not నేను: నాకు ఐదు సంవత్సరాల అనుభవం ఉంది, exactly like నాకు తెలుసు and నాకు కోపం వచ్చింది.

సమీక్ష — మీరే మీ మాటను ఒకసారి పరీక్షించుకోండి. క్రియ చివర సరిగా ఉందా? విభక్తి సరిగా ఉందా? కాలం ఒకటే ఉందా?

Before you call the introduction finished, review it once with three questions. Does the verb ending match its subject — అతను వచ్చాడు, ఆమె వచ్చింది, వాళ్ళు వచ్చారు, అవి వచ్చాయి? Are the endings right on the nouns — ఊరికి, ఇంట్లో, అమ్మతో, నాకు? And does one stretch of the story stay in one tense instead of sliding between నేను వెళ్ళాను and నేను వెళ్తాను? Those three checks catch most of what a learner gets wrong at this stage. This lesson is the ముగింపు of Arc A: from level 7 you stop only speaking Telugu and start looking at the grammar underneath it.

మీరే చెప్పండి · Use it

ఇప్పుడు ఐదు నిమిషాలు మీరే మాట్లాడండి — ఆరు భాగాలూ వరుసగా. తరువాత ఒకసారి విని, మూడు ప్రశ్నలతో సమీక్ష చేసుకోండి.

Set a clock for five minutes and give the whole introduction aloud, the six parts in order: name and town, your day, your family, what you did last year and what you will do next, one small thing that happened to you, and one opinion closed with a proverb. Record it if you can. Then listen once and run the three checks — verb endings, case endings, one tense at a time — and say the weakest part again. When it holds together without stopping, Arc A is behind you. మీరు తెలుగు మాట్లాడగలరు; ఇక వ్యాకరణం చూద్దాం.
